well.. i got the job.. i start work on monday, depending on when i receive the contract/terms and conditions etc in the mail to read over and sign :-)
the bum is gone again.. and its back to work.. kinda nervous.. but kinda relieved.. mixed feelings.. :-)

yep.. tomoz is the 2nd interview at the school for internal tech support.. we'll see how it goes.. :-)
prolly be more so a character interview as the 1st interview was with the IT staff.. this one is wif the principal..
i'll prolly take the job if they offer it to me.. (once i read over the contract or whatever haha..) but yeh.. the work environment is more appealling than the last job.. as most people who have talked to me know.. the last job's work environment wasn't that good at all.. hahaha

2nd Interview
got called up again by the same place i had the interview with last week, they want me to come in for another interview with the principal of the school next week.. yeh didn't say before hehe.. the job is for IT support at a private highschool, internal services etc.. so yeh.. things are looking up :-)
its been a strange last couple of days actually.. lot of confusion and stuff.. lots of thinking,.. worrying.. but the pieces of the puzzle are starting to fall into place and things are becoming clearer in most parts of my life.. not by chance, not because i have done anything.. but because of God, He is everything!! Praise the Lord!!! :-D

its something i believe i'm struggling with.. i like to think that i am able to think outside my own little square, i try to consider another person's thoughts feelings motives etc.. but what i'm thinking usually comes out on top even though i try to factor in their side..
i fall short most of the time in truly understanding them, my thoughts come to the surface and i put my views to whoever i'm talking to and/or my attitude changes, while failing to see it from their side..
for instance at my time at ozemail i was dealing with customers over the phone.. some which had no idea about computers and other who just couldn't speak english that well.. most of the time when i got those people i would just slap my head and look down upon them but still solve there problem.. where i should be seeing it from their side.. they might not have seen a computer before.. they haven't finished a computing degree, they might have moved to australia in the last year or so.. etc..
its really bizarre though.. because if a friend comes to me with an issue/problem i think about every possible factor and try to formulate an answer that can be helpful to the person...
however when there is no problem.. no issue.. no one that comes to me and i have to work it all out by myself.. then i fail to see all factors and how the other person might be thinking... or the reason behind what they did,.. etc
on top of that.. even when say, the person comes to me and enlightens me on their thoughts.. i kinda find a way around it and justify the way i'm thinking..
in the long run, i end up pushing them away from me.. because now that they are telling me.. i'm not listening..
tonight was a perfect example of that.. i thought everything was accounted for.. i thought i took in all factors and i was acting accordingly.. but to my dismay.. it wasn't the case.. i didn't think completely on how i was acting.. and it affected one of the people in the group.. i could see something was up.. and after some probing.. they opened up and told me what was up and it kinda got blown out of the water.. i just couldn't see in front of my nose of what was happening.. they tried to show it to me from their side.. but i woudn't listen.. i justified my actions.. i found ways around the issue.. and made what i was doing right..
that does not help the situation.. the whole thing gets out of hand..
i hope i haven't closed them up.. i hope they can come to me when they need someone to talk to..
more thoughts must be made on the situation of others, its something that really needs to grow for me.. with God's help i know i can make this change..

Interview... The Aftermath
well.. i think it went ok.. i pretty sure i covered everything they require for the new position.. and i'm sure it came across ok to them regarding my experience and knowledge..
i'm not that worried about it though.. suprisingly..
if God wants me to walk down this path with this job then thats what's going to happen.. but if not.. then i know God has something else in store for me..
it just so happy to know that God knows best for me and he is going to be with me every step of the way :-)

holidays are here... rejoice!
first week of holidays has already passed, only five more..hehe i must find something productive to do otherwise i'll waste away my days like i always do LoL hopefully i can find a job soon, cuz my walet's been draining lifelessly away with all this going out >.<
last night's cruise was a lot of fun :D they had pizza's on board, rather unusual for a cruise, but cool. i thought i wouldn't know anyone going but i recognised a few faces and bumped into an old friend of mine who i hadn't seen for yonks, which was a total surprise! we departed from king's street wharf but returned on the star city side of pyrmont, and went for a snack at pancakes on the rock's afterwards.. good ol' pancakes - reliable 24/7 service haha
i'm all home alone atm :-(
